Lakewood Regional Begins Third Versant Nursing Residency Cohort

We are pleased to announce our third Versant nursing residency cohort of 10 new graduate registered nurses.  After reviewing 450 applications and conducting 30 panel interviews, the following outstanding nurses were chosen:

Laporsha Baker RN,  Rachel Barnhart RN ,  Annie Dien RN,  Stephanie Garza RN,  Daisy Guzman RN, Ashley Hooks RN,  Mariana Quijano RN,  Shannon Rossiter RN,  Nathan Smith RN, and Nicole White RN.

Led by Terri Newton RN, MSN, Versant Director, these nurses are off to a great start. They recently completed a video for the Versant Annual Client Conference in New Orleans, La (November 2011).  This energetic group is determined to win the video competition and we have no doubt they are well on their way to achieving that goal.

We are very pleased with the level of intelligence and maturity of our new graduate registered nurses. With the guidance of the Versant curriculum, their preceptors and mentors, we are confident these new graduate registered nurses will be competent nurses to meet the needs of our patients.
